Greetings to the Land Commissioners: I have some kihapais in the Ahupua`a of Kaluaaha, Island of Molokai. The main name of the area is Paheekana; there are 5 lo`i in it, 30 by 11 /fathoms?/. There are also some sweet potato kulas, mauka at Pohakea. The length is 68 and the width is 48 /fathoms?/. There is also a "jump" pauku far inland, at Ahakeau; the width is 5 /?/ and the length of the pali is the length - however it has not been measured correctly.

My kihapai was received in the time of Kamehameha I and when my kupunakane died the land was left to me, until this time, and I go to the pa'ahao labor days at present. When I die, the land should go to my wahine, and when she ....

Kahaiau, sworn, both Kamakahi and I have known in the same way. There is a loi within this land over which there was a dispute with Hikikoke, however, Kila did have a loi outside of this land, so they decided to have a sale between them.
