Whereas, the Board of Commissioners to quiet Land Titles, did, by their decision, award by Land Commission Award No. 8559B, Apana 38 award to W.C. Lunalilo, an estate of Freehold less than Allodial in the land hereafter described,

And Whereas, proper application has been made to the Commissioner of Public Lands by H.M. von Holt, attorney in Fact for R.A. Macfie, present owner of a portion of the Ahupuaa of Kaihi, in the District of Koolau, Island of Kauai, for a Patent of the land herein described, and a Certificate of Boundaries defining same having been duly filed, and whereas the Government Commutation in said Ahupuaa of K ....
