Greetings to the Land Commissioners: This lot of which I tell was bequeathed. It is at Wailuku: on the east is my fence and the Government Road, and on the south is the lot of Kama, and on the west is the wall of Kalua, and on the north is the house of Maila* haole and the thorny trees. This lot was cut by the new Government Road. A great deal of work has been done because of the idea of the haole who has this place, that he has a new right to own the land. I fenced this for ....

However, the Tax Officer did not make a lot just like Kolii's former lot, in accordance with the directions of Keoni Ana. Therefore Kolii determined to enter that former lot as a claim, in 1847.

Maalaea by Kupa Maila and cactus.
