By this Patent the Governor of the Territory of Hawaii, in conformity with the laws of the United States of America and of the Territory of Hawaii, makes known to all men that he has this day granted and confirmed unto E.H. Wodehouse, Trustee for the consideration of           Dollars  $  paid into the Treasury. For and in consideration of the conveyance made to the Territory of Hawaii by E.H. Wodehouse, Trustee, of certain lands and other property and rights in property situate in Wahiawa, Lawai, Eleele, Koloa, Kalaheo and Omao, District of Koloa, Island of Kauai, Territory of Hawaii, and more particularly described in a certain deed of even date and intended to be delivered simultaneously herewith. all of land situate at Kalaheo, in the District of Koloa, Island of Kauai bounded and described as follows:

.... rossing the Kukuiolono ditch from mauka reservoirs at this point and following along and above this ditch: thence North 28° 56' West 231.19 feet; North 2° 57' East 603.85 feet to the point of beginning.

“Excepting and reserving, however, to the TERRITORY OF HAWAII a strip – 100 feet wide from high water mark along the shore of the above described premises.”

To have and to hold the above granted Land unto the said E.H. Wodehouse, Trustee and his heirs and assigns forever.

In Witness Whereof, the Governor of the Territory of Hawaii has hereto set his hand and caused the great Seal of the Territory to be hereunto affixed, this 20th day of October A.D. 1909.
