Greetings to you, the Minister of the Interior and all the persons who may see this letter: It is an explanation concerning Apolo's house lot claim. My occupancy here at Hanalei was from after the time when Kinau married Kekuanaoa, being 1829, until the present time and no one has opposed my occupancy of this house lot.
