To the Land Commissioners, Greetings: I hereby state my claim for some house lots in Honolulu, mauka of the Government Road which goes to the Church of Smith, on the Waikiki side, also, of the Puowaina Road, makai of the lot of Kapaakea, and Ewa of the lot of E. Kuhia. That is the first lot.

The second lot is on the Ewa side of the Puowaina Road, the makai boundary is the same, it is Ewa of the lot of Paukuwahie and an unused place ....

Kekuanaoa had given him his places in 1840. He has lived comfortably on the second section to the present time without any objections.

Kaiahua built a house on section I in 1840 because it was a vacant land and he has lived there. Now Keohokalole is protesting and it is not clear to me his reason for protesting.
