Kamehameha III, By the Grace of God, King of the Hawaiian Islands, by this Royal Patent, makes known, unto all men, that he has for himself and his successors in office, this day granted and given, absolutely, in Fee Simple unto William L. Lee his faithful and loyally disposed subject for the consideration of Fifty Dollars, paid into the Royal Exchequer, all that certain piece of Land situated at Honolulu, in the Island of Oahu, and described as follows:

Beginning on Palikea at the center of the stream West of Nuuanu road and 82 feet mauka of the new road leading from Nuuanu road along makai boundary of G. P. Judd House Lot towards Kalihi Valley, and thence running
South 54° East 5 Chains 10 links to corner of Kalo patch worked by Kepu, thence acrofs road
South 42° 30' West 7 Chains to a large rock on Kaaleo, thence
South 21° East 1 Chain and 87 li ....
