.... onanui, a puhala tree, thence to mauka Government road running along iwi aina to Kemau. Puuoholualoa, a hill; thence to mawae, a water hole in the woods, where I have heard Holualoa ends. I do not know which Hooluloa runs through the woods to mawae. I do not know the points of the boundaries above this place in water hole lower edge of woods, in the woods, called Mawae.
Cross-examined

Palanolelo, kane, sworn, I was born at Kapapala in Kau, Hawaii at the time of Okuu. I now live at Kaumalumalu, Kona; have lived there two years. Have lived on Holualoa, twenty years and know [page 326] a part of the boundaries. Nakaoekolu, kane, pointed out the makai boundaries to me; the boundary at shore between Pahoehoe and Kaumalumalu is Manawala; thence mauka to Waiaea in fern at the edge of the woods. I have forgotten other points on the boundary on this side.

The boundary at seashore between Holualoa and Kaumalumalu is at Kauilaopelu, a heiau.

The Kaheka is on Kaumalumalu. I do not know other points on the boundary between here and the woods. There is a pali in the woods, Kaumalumalu is at the base and Holualoa is on top of this pali; Umiahu is mauka boundary and joins Kahaluu at Mawae on the base of Hualalai, an awawa; The North end of Umiahu. These are all the boundaries that I know anything about.
Cross-examined

No Witnesses. Kapukui says there are no more kamaaina as to be found. Case continued till further notice to all interested parties.
