The Ahupuaa of Olelomoana 1st iki, District of South Kona, Island of Hawaii, 3d Judicial Circuit
On this, the 4th day of June, A.D. 1874 the Commission of Boundaries for the Island of Hawaii, 3d Judicial circuit met at the house of J.W. Kuaimoku, Pahoehoe, South Kona on the application of Kaopua for the settlement of the boundaries of Olelomoana 1st iki, situated in the District of South Kona, Island of Hawaii. Notice of hearing served by publication in the Hawaiian Gazette of [left blank] and due notice personally served on all owners or Agents of adjoining lands, as far as known.
Present: Kaopua for self; J.G. Hoapili for Hawaiian Government and Estate of M. Kekuanaoa.

Testimony
Kimo, kane, sworn (same witness as on Olelomoana 2d nui), I know a little about this land. Kamaaina now dead told me the boundaries. Bounded on the south side by Olelomoana 2d nui. Commencing at a large rock in the sea called Kaluahu; thence mauka to Kapulehu, an ahua, the boundary is in an awaawa to the North of it. The boundary runs in the awaawa from shore to Pahoa, a kihapai; thence passing through Pahoa it runs along the iwi aina to Kumup ....

Court opened according to Notice in Kuokoa of February 24, 1883, &c.
Present: J. Nawahi for owner of land, Kaopua, S.M. Kaaukai, Surveyor; Holi kane, Kalama Kaopua wahine & others.

S.M. Kaaukai, sworn, I live in Honolulu, Island of Oahu, am Land Surveyor; I lately surveyed the lands of Kapua in Kona, Hawaii, about April 1882; Papa 2d, Olomoana iki; and Kaohe 4th.

Olelomoanaiki, Land of Kapua
Hilo, March 15, 1883
Evidence
S.M. Kaaukai, sworn, we surveyed this land as soon as we had finished Papa 2d. Pahia and the kamaainas went with us. We began at a red stone in the sea, called Pohaku ulaula, our kamaaina Huakanou pointed it out; run mauka at 2996, Royal patent of Kanina, to a pile of stones above Government road. Thence along old canoe road bound of Kola, a Government land to Keauhou; thence at Keauhou 39 chains return to [page10] sea shore, 7 chains wide to Kaluahee, a rock in sea; thence at Olelomoana 2d of R. Keliikolani, as per notes of survey to pile of stones at Government Road; thence to boundary to Keauhou;
Containing 1069 acres.
We spoke to Simon Kaai, the Agent of R. Keelikolani about their boundary before we began, and he told us to survey the correct boundary; Pahia, being the surveyor of all lands of R. Keliikolani.
No one objected or disputed any of the boundaries as surveyed.
Puakanou went around the land with us as kamaaina.
No one contesting, the boundaries are decided to be as given in the notes of survey.
