Application

To L. McCully, Esquire, Commissioner of Boundaries for the Island fo Oahu, Hawaiian Islands
The Petition of Abigail Maikai of Honolulu, Island of Oahu, respectfully sheweth:

That she is the heir of the blood of Luisa Kealoha, deceased, and as such is the owner of the Ili of Puahuula, Kaneohe, Koolaupoko, Island of Oahu, Hawaiian Islands, awarded to the said Luisi Kealoha, by Award of the Land Commission No. 7587, dated March the 27th 1855, a copy of which said award is herewith shown in exhibit marked “A”, and made a part of this Application.

That said Ili of land has not been surveyed according to the ancient land marks known to the kamaainas of the Country: That the owners of the lands adjoining are C.C. Harris and the estate of His late Majesty, Kamehameha V.

Wherefore, Your Petitioner prays that a time and place may be fixed for a hearing of this her petition and the taking of testimony relative to the boundaries of said Ili of land and that all persons interested therein be notified to appear, and that upon a final hearing herein, the boundaries of said tract of land may be duly and definitely fixed according to law.

W.C. Jones appears and withdraws his above application. The same land is claimed and applied for by the Estate of Nakuapa, deceased.

From a Hau tree which is North 66° 20' East true, 705 feet distant from the Kaneohe Plantation Chimney, run North 73° East true, 150 feet to the middle of the stream; thence up the middle of the stream around a peninsula, the North point of which is 750 feet due North from the initial point to a point which is South 60° West true 190 feet from said initial point; thence by this last course and distance reversed to initial point.
