In the Matter of the Settlement of the Boundaries of the Mountain portion of the Ahupuaa of Paalaa, Waialua, Oahu, Territory of Hawaii
June 18, 1925, an application was filed by William O. Smith, E Faxon Bishop, A.F. Judd, William Williamson and Richard H. Trent, Trustees under the Will and of the Estate of Bernice P. Bishop, deceased, through their attorneys; Robertson and Castle, setting fort that the Ahupuaa of Paalaa, Waialua, Oahu, was awarded to Victoria Kamamalu as Apana No. 34 of Land Commission Award 7713 by name only and not survey; that the petitioners as successors in title and interest to said Victoria Kamamalu are the owners of the Mountain portion of said Ahupuaa of Paalaa; and praying that the boundaries of said Mountain Portion of the Ahupuaa of Paalaa be determined and certified as follows:
Beginning at Peahinaia (U.S.A.) Triangulation Station on the boundary between Paalaa and Kawailoa, said station being marked by a redwood post in concrete and a large U.S. Army tetrapod, the coordinates of said point of beginning referred to Government Survey Triangulation Station “Maili” being 12,217.6 feet North and 35,948.3 feet East and running by true azimuths
1. Along the dividing line between the Paalaa and Kawailoa watersheds to its junction with the main ridge of the Koolau Range, the direct azimuth and distance being ....

.... awa watersheds to a point the direct azimuth and distance being 85° 30 18,200 feet; from which point Helemano Triangulation Station marked by a 1 ½ inch Galvanized pipe is the true azimuth and distance 115° 30' 560 feet; and the coordinates of said Triangulation station referred to Government Survey Triangulation Station “Maili” being 2866.9 feet North and 39,488.2 feet East;
4. 230° 00' 2,700 feet along the remainder of Paalaa;
5. 191° 00' 900 feet to the North bank of Helemano stream;
6. thence along the North bank of Helemano stream to where it crosses a line between Gomes Triangulation Station marked by a pipe in concrete and Peahinaia (U.S.A.) Triangulation Station marked by a redwood post in concrete, the direct azimuth and distance being 101° 34' 4,304 feet;
7. 161° 17' 38” 6,450 feet to the point of beginning passing over pipes in concrete at approximately 2,150 feet and 4,800 feet, the total distance between Gomes and Peahinaia (U.S.A.) Triangulation Stations being 7624.4 feet, and containing an area of 3100 acres.
