Herewith please receive a list of lands on the Island of Oahu, belonging to Estate of Her late Royal Highness, the Princess V. K. Kamamalu and His late Highness, M. Kekuanaoa and which I now make application to you as Commissioner of Boundaries for Oahu to have the boundaries settled and defined.
I am Sir, Your Obedient Servant, John O. Dominis, Administrator of Estate of His lat[e] Majesty Kamehameha V.

An old survey made by Reverend Mr. Emerson is exhibited. Notices sent to sundry kamaainas to be in attendance tomorrow.

Kea, kane, sworn, I was born when the Okuu was at its heighth [sic] (appears about 70 years of age), was born before the Okuu, Was born at Palaa, live at Palaa now, and have always lived here. Know the ancient boundaries of Paalaa & Kawailoa. Learned them from the ol ....

Station in this land), thence from Peahinaia the boundary of Kawaialoa continues along the watershed of this ridge, in a direction about North 83° East until it joins the main mountain range at the back of Laie, or thereabouts, and which is the Southeast corner of this land; thence in about a Northwest direction following down main range to a place called “Kainapuaa” which is the Northeasterly corner of this land.

Returning to place of commencement the boundary continues round the coast line to Waimea in the following notes:

North 48° 35' West 1750 links; along the Northeast side of Kamananui to point thence;

Total Area 23000 Acres, more or less.
