Kamehameha III, By the Grace of God, King of the Hawaiian Islands, by this Royal Patent, makes known, unto all men, that he has for himself and his successors in office, this day granted and given, absolutely, in Fee Simple unto Aleon his faithful and loyally disposed subject for the consideration of Eighty Siven [sic] Dollars, paid into the Royal Exchequer, all that certain piece of Land situated at Koloa, in the Island of Kauai, and described as follows:
Commencing at large pile of stones on rise of ground on West side of this land joining the Government Lot, and running
South 35° 45' East 13 Chains along Government land acrofs the Maulili road to stake at makai point of this land, thence
North 21° 15' East 4 Chains 23 feet to angle of Puniai's stone wall, thence
North 41° West 1 Chain along wall to corner, t ....
