Kamehameha III, By the Grace of God, King of the Hawaiian Islands, by this Royal Patent, makes known, unto all men, that he has for himself and his successors in office, this day granted and given, absolutely, in Fee Simple unto Henry Gordon, his faithful and loyally disposed subject for the consideration of Thirty Seven dollars, paid into the Royal Exchequer, all that certain piece of Land situated at Malamalama iki akahi, Hilo in the Island of Oahu Hawaii and described as follows:
Commencing at a stake in the water course, above the hog-pen, seperating this land from Malamalama iki ma ka pali, being te boundary line between the two lands, thence following up the course of the water-run by the following courses & distances, Viz
South 62° West 8 chains, thence
South 84° West 2 chains, thence
South 45° West 2 chains 18 feet, thence
South 42° West 1 chain, thence
South 50° West 1 chain, thence
South 39° West 2 c ....
