Kamehameha III., By the grace of God, King of the Hawaiian Islands, by this his Royal Patent, makes known unto all men, that he has for himself and his successors in office, this day granted and given, absolutely, in Fee Simple unto Robert Robinson, his faithful and loyally disposed subject for the consideration of Two hundred and eighteen 50/100 Dollars ($218.50), paid into the Royal Exchequer, all that certain piece of Land, situated at Kapaauila, Hamakua, in the Island of Hawaii, and described as follows:
Commencing at the Government road on the bank of a ravine bounding Kapaauila and Aamanu alaila ma [then along] said road to the ravine bounding Paukii by the following courses and distances
