KAMEHAMEHA III, By the Grace of God, King of the Hawaiian Islands, by this Royal Patent, makes known, unto all men, that he has for himself and his successors in office, this day granted and given, absolutely, in Fee Simple unto Kamaikui, his faithful and loyally disposed subject for the consideration of One Dollar , paid into the Royal Exchequer, all that certain piece of Land situated at Waiakanui Waimea, in the Island of Hawaii, and described as follows:

Commencing at a rocky eminence on the Eastern boundary near the stream of Waiaka, which eminence is named Kiniakua, and running as follows:

South 4° 20' East 7.20 chains along Haleaha to stream, and after crossing stream, along ili of Pahukapu, Thence along Pahukapu
South 67° 40' West 5.22 chains and
South 55° 10' West 11.60 chains to a pile of rocks at the North corner of Pohakuloa. Thence along Poahakuloa
South 89° 25' West 6.05 chains to Waiakaiki, Thence along Waiakaiki
North 28° 50' East 67 links and
North 53° West 3.25 chains and
North 31° 30' East 8.88 chains (this course parallel with stream at distance of 80 links) and
South 61° East 2.39 chains t ....
