Liliuokalani, By the Grace of God, Queen of the Hawaiian Islands The Hawaiian Government By this Her its Royal Patent, the Hawaiian Government makes known unto all men, that She it hath for herself, her heirs and successors, this day granted and given unto J.M. Monsarrat for the consideration of One Hundred and Ninety ($190.x) Dollars paid into the Royal Exchequer, all that piece of Land situate at Okoe South Kona in the Island of Hawaii and described as follows:
Lot “A”
Commencing at a large Ahu on the mauka edge of old Government road, from which Ahu, the Government Survey Station Puu Nahaha bears South 65° 58' West true 8282 feet and running:
1.North 72° 12' East true 482 feet along trail along lot “B”;
2. North 74° 12' East true 343 feet along trail ....

To Have and to Hold the above granted Land in Fee Simple, unto the said J.M. Monsarrat, his Heirs and Assigns forever.
In Witness Ourself at Honolulu, this Whereof the President of the Provisional Government of the Hawaiian Islands has hereto set his hand and caused the Great Seal of the Hawaiian Islands to be hereunto affixed this 2nd day of August. 1894,in the [blank] year of Our Reign.
