By this its Patent the Government of the Republic of Hawaii makes known to all men that It has this day granted and confirmed unto Lincoln L. McCandless for the consideration of Eight Thousand One Hundred ($8100 x/00) Dollars paid into the Exchequer, and in conformity with Section 17 of Part IV of the Land Act of 1895, all that piece of land situate at Waiahole, in the District of Koolaupoko, Island of Oahu and described as follows:

Beginning at the Northeast corner of this land at angle of boundary of Land Commission Award 7137 to Kahoohanohano on “Onouli”  thence the boundary runs by true bearings:
North 86° 35' West 250 feet along Land Commission Award ....
