The Land Commissioners, greetings: I, Kauinui, a Hawaiian subject living at Kaulu at Wainiha on the island of Kauai, have on this 24th day of January measured my claim. The length is 65 fathoms, the width is 12 fathoms. I have a lo`i at Kapaloa, 60 fathoms long by 49 fathoms wide.
