To the Land Commissioners: On the island of Kauai, Ahupua`a of Hanapepe, `ili of Kahuneone, is a Land with some lo`is and a kula, all together in one place. It is bounded on the north by the muliwai of Koula, on the west by the muliwai of Hanapepe, on the south by a sugar cane mo`o of Kauauaole, on the east by the mountain of Apulu.

The name of the lo`i is Nani and the name of a kula in this land is Popokea.

My kupunas received this in the time of Kaumualii and it has been held until the present.
