Greetings to the Land Commissioners: I hereby state my claim for land on the island of Kauai, in the Ahupua`a of Hanapepe in the aiku /`ili kupono/ of Manuahi. Kapukalua is the name of my land claim. It was from Kekaulike*, when the land was "colonized" /after the Kauai war/, from then until Kapukaipo*, when my makuakane, named Kauapua, had it. The land is 44 fathoms on the n ....
