Greetings to the Land Commissioners: I, Levi, of Waiakea, hereby state my claims for 4 kihapai parcels of land in Waiakea. One land is 62 fathoms by 20 fathoms. The second parcel is 45 fathoms by 13 fathoms. The third parcel has unequal sides, 25 fathoms on one side, 21 fathoms on the other, by a width of 14 fathoms. The fourth parcel has unequal sides also, 16 fathoms by 14 fathoms by 13 fathoms by 20 fathoms. Those are my claims which I have tended since 1840. That is my statement to you, the Commissioners to quiet land titles.
