Greetings to the Land Commissioners: I, Lolo, on the Island of Molokai, have an `ili in the Ahupua`a of Honouliwai. Its name is Kaohe. On the mauka side is Mahana, makai side is Kaohe 2, above is Makawanana, below is a stream. This land has a kula and a mountain area. The konohikis since I began to occupy this `ili have been, first, Kaaua, then Papaiki, and Kaneleeele. The witnesses are: Hoonuu and Kamainalulu. Therefore, I have a claim in this `ili for you to consider, and to award.
Aloha to you all.
