Be it known to you, the Commissioners to Quiet Land Titles, that the diagram in this letter shows my land claim. There are some taro lo`i, the cultivated kula and an orange tree. My claim is at Hanalei and it is for you to designate and verify it. My right of occupancy is from the time of Kaumualii until the year 1848.
