I, Weuweu, a subject of Hawaii living in these islands, hereby explain my own claim in the `ili of Hoolamao in the Ahupua`a of Makaweli. On the south it is 2 chains 4 fathoms, on the west, 39 chains 3 fathoms 1 foot, on the north, 2 chains, on the east, 40 chains.

I, Weuweu, a subject of Hawaii living in these islands, hereby explain to you my own claim in the `ili of Hakioa in the Ahupua`a of Makaweli. On the south it is 3 chains, on the west, 3 chains, perhaps, on the north 4 chains 2 fathoms 1 yard, on the east 3 chains perhaps.

On looking over the survey of Napulupulu this morning (22) I suspect I have wrongly named one of the boundaries of his land. I will therefore retain it till I can return to Waimea & consult my notes, & will not send it by the steamer which goes to day.

Land from Kaumualii to Weuweu's parents, they bequested it to Weuweu, no objections.
