To Honorable William Lee & others, Commissioners for quieting land titles, Gentlemen:

In pursuance of the public notice, I beg leave to present my claim to a certain premises situated in Honolulu, which premises I received of Governor John Adams Kuakine (at that time Governor of Oahu) in 1831. They were enclosed, improved and built upon by me & have been uninterrupte ....

.... roperty has been fenced and there are two houses for Fayer-weather but the surrounding fence is the true boundary of the property. This had been an idle land in the past and I have seen Fayerweather working on this property and I believe he has told the chiefs for this would be the right thing to do. I had seen Fayerweather living there long before the year 1839 and he has lived in peace to this day; no one has objected.
