To the Honorable Land Commissioners of the Hawaiian Islands, Greetings: I hereby tell you of my claims for land and house. This land is at Kuaiwa in Waianae, Island of Oahu, and is bounded on the north by the land of Nalehu and a pali, on the east by the land of Kekuhe, on the south by the land of Keikenui, on the west by the land of Nalehu, and one po'alima patch in my land. I have a land claim at Kahahapa in Waianae which is bounded on the north by Pahoa, on the east by the land of Apiki and the land of Kuku, on the south by a thorny hedge and on the west a thorny hedge. Here is my house claim and also some patches of mine, which are bounded on the north by the land of Puhi and Apiki, on the east by a road and the land of ....

The house lot and section III are from Kaapuiki at the time of Poki. He was an assistant konohiki at the time. Section II and IV are from me and my interest had been from Kaaupuiki. Lauhulu has lived there since to this day."
