To the Honorable Land Commissioners of the Hawaiian Islands, Greetings: I hereby write you again concerning these land claims /made by/ the children of George Richardson at Waikapu on Maui,

One is a houselot adjoining the land of which we have formerly written to you. Kuikuialaimaka is the name of this land and this place con-tains perhaps 1/2 acre. When Kamehameha I was alive, our makuas lived at this place, we were born there, our makuakane died there on April 25, 1835, and we lived at this place with our makuahine. We have held it peacefully with no objections.

We also have a kula in the land called Haanui, which adjoins the north side of our land. This kula has been surveyed and the diagram is ....

Manu, sworn, I know of two parcels in these `Ilis in Waikapu:

Parcel 1. House lot at Ohia.
Parcel 2. Kula at Haanui.

Parcel 1 was from Ke/e/aumoku in the time of Kamehameha I. Parcel 2 was from Puupahoehoe in 1846. No opposition.

Maalaea by Kepaa.
