To the Land Commissioners, Greetings and Peace: I, Pili, hereby tell you of my claims for five patches, a kula, and a house lot at the `ili `aina of Puunui, between another Puunui and Honolulu, Island of Oahu. I lived there for a long time before the enactment of the Law.

Mauka by Puhau's & Kaiui's yards
Waititi by Kahea's

Puhau's land, Waikiki
Kahope's lot and Kaiwi's lot, toward the sea
My houselot, Ewa.

Pili's land had been from Puhau during Kaahumanu's time and no one has objected to this day.

Mahuka, sworn and said, "I have seen this property exactly as Kaha has related here.
