To the Land Commissioners, Greetings: I hereby tell you of my claim for land in the `ili `aina at Kawananakoa, Honolulu, consisting of five patches. At another place are three. On the north is Hina's place, on the east is Kaaha's place, on the south is Piilani's place, on the west are Pale's patches. One taro patch is in another place, however, it adjoins the `ili `aina. On the south is the lot of Ii, and on the west and east is Kaaha's place, and a house lot and kula.

Kahalepalaoa's land, makai
Kekulou's land, Waianae.
Three patches and a pasture are in this section but there is no house.
Section two has two houses, one patch and a pasture.

Keoni's land, Waikiki and makai
Kapakahi's land, Ewa.
Kaia's land is from Hoomoeapule. He had been an overseer under Loda and Kekuanaoa. That was at Kalukini here and he has lived there in peace to this day."
Hoomoeapule, sworn my knowledge is as Pakele has just related here; no one has objected. I had given him his claim.
