To the Land Commissioners, Greetings: I hereby tell you of my land claim at Maili, an `ili at Moanalua, Island of Oahu. The description is as follow: One lo`i adjoining mauka of Hoomoeapule's place.
Claim 2. A single lo`i east* of the lo`i of Nawaa, one side of the hohonu /well"/ is for me, one lo`i adjoining makai, and one adjoining makai of this lo`i, one irrigation ditch, and the kula.

Maikea's land sections have been from his wife, who had received it from Hoomoeapule during the time of Kamehameha I. Section 3 was received at the time of Kinau and when Moanalua was working in salt beds for Makapokuku.
