.... by Konohiki's land
Ewa by land enclosure - (fence)

In 1839, I had asked, "where are the koeles of Alia" "They're here," the old timers answered and I cultivated them. The pasture Kamoeanu and the wauke koele assuming this land was for the konohiki and I have been the only person cultivating this land since my arrival to the present time. Kanalua had left permanently after he had started to enclose the land, then Kilinahe has completely enclosed it. According to my understanding this is the konohiki's place and I live under him. The plantings are for both me and the konohiki. Kanalua's work has been with his patches and his house site has been in the ahupuaa to the present time.

Kuheleloa (female), sworn, this pasture is not for Kanaloa, it rests with Kekulou, we have known in the same way.
