To the Land Commissioners, Greetings: I hereby tell of my claim for two lo' in the 'ili of Kanuku, named Aula, of the Ahupua'a of Waikiki, and some rows of taro hills from Kaahumanu I and two sections of stream gotten at the same time. Two lo'i were from Nalaweha, and a small house lot here at Kawehewehe and a stream called Kawehewehe.

The length of my occupation of this house site and the sections of stream and the rows of /taro/ hills in Hohe, is from Kaahumanu I, and the acquisition of a stream was after the work of Kinau at Kaipuni. That was when my makuakane, Ahia, acquired them. I was his kaikamahine. There were two of us by Ahia - myself, ....

Land from Ahia in 1839.

Ahia had received it from Kalanipaopao at the time of Kamehameha I. Kalanipaopao had received it from Kamehameha I, in 1848, during the land land distribution he received ½ of that ahupuaa and ½ is for the govenrment and he [she] is living there peacefully to the present time. (See Mahele land book in the Prime Ministry office.)
