To the Land Commissioners: `Ili Laimi, Honolulu uka Greetings to you all: I, the undersigned, hereby tell of my land claim, some weed-grown lo`is on the north of the spring, from the spring to the stone wall mauka: on the south is the stone wall mauka to the edge separating the bulrushes from the pilipiliula /grass/, on the north is the Holua, running to below the spring, on the east is the wall surrounding Kaukaluka /Dr. Rooke/; My claim is ended.

.... our patches are from Kiki given in the year 1847.

Kaeo, sworn, I had given him in 1845 that place which has been completely enclosed. It is for him to have until his death and he has paid for ithaving worked for me. I had given the house at the same time and the Royal Patent was issued in the month of September 1848.

Kiki, sworn, I had given him /land/ in the year 1847 because of his relation to me as a parent-in-law. Kaeo had given me my interest in the year 1842 probably; no one had objected to me.

Kaeo, I had given him land, altho'he remained subject to me.
