To the Honorable Land Commissioners, Greetings: I hereby tell you of my land claim which is at Kamooakua, Pauoa, Island of Oahu. It is bounded on the north by the land of Nohoua, on the east by the land of Nohoua, on the south by the land of the makuakane of Kaapuiki, on the west by the land of Kapuukolo.

.... es had belonged to a man who is dead named Uwe. It was I who had given Uwe two moo lands; hence, he gave Kawaua 9 taro patches and this had been with my approval. I had given Uwe this land in the year 1841, which was the same time Uwe gave the nine patches and here are the boundaries:
Mauka is Kaohukolo
Waikiki, Uwe
Makai, Kanakanui
Ewa, Mahuka.
