The humble petition of John Brosseau, residing at Hanalei, Kauai, Hawaiian Islands, to the Commissioners for Quieting Land Titles.

Sheweth that your petitioner hath in possession a lot of land measuring 5 acres and 135 rods as per survey by Mr. Metcalf, land surveyor. And further said lot of land was granted or given to your petitioner by one Kalili, conohiekei [Konohiki] of said land, and the before-mentioned Kalili acknowledged such gift of said land of five acres & one hundred & thirty-five rods to said petitioner in th ....

Resolved, that a fee simple title be and is here granted to John Brousseau and his Hawaiian heirs, for his dwelling house lot at Hanalei, Kauai. Contains as appears by his survey by G. Metcalf, 1 Acre 138 rods free of all commutation.

A true copy of a Resolution passed this day by the King in Council.
