To the Honorable Land Commissioners of Hawaii: We have seen the paper telling of the land claims, therefore we write you for our land and house lot. The size /circumference/ is one thousand seven hundred and six feet. It is at Piihonua, Hilo, Hawaii and was from our makuas, however it is under the Mo`i Kamehameha III ....

.... ree years subsequently Aina came to lie on this place and erected a sugar mill upon it. and that Aina & his heirs have been in quiet possession from that time to the present. He know of Mikaele's going to Oahu to put in their claim. The boundaries are described as described by Kahalehau.
