To the Land Commissioners, greetings: From the year 1839 until this day on which I petition you for my claim for land at Hopoe in the middle of Waikiki, Island of Oahu /I have had this land/. I have six lo`i, the mauka side adjoins the boundary of Kapaakea, the makai side adjoins the lo`is of Mauwele.

Claim 2. I have one lo`i at Pau, an `ili in the middle of Waikiki, Island of Oahu, which I got in the year 1839. The easterly side adjoins under Kekukahiko's place.

Claim 3. On the north is unused kula, on the east a school house, on the east is kula, on the west is the pond.

Ewa, Kekukahiko 's land.

Section 1 to Kaaha from M. Kekuanaoa, in 1839. Sections 2 and 3 to Kaaha from C. Kanaina in 1839. He had always lived there until his death, this place was left to his children and they have lived there to the present day, without any dispute except for Paele who has filed a claim for section 1.

POSTPONED: until Paele. C. Kanaina and M. Kekuanaoa are available.

Paele, sworn, I have known about this house lot in Kapaakea just as Hopuia has related here. There has been no objections to this place because there is no other claim for this lot, Kaaha is the only claimant.
