N.R. 25-26v7

Greetings to the Land Commissioners: I, Puu, have an `ili in the Ahupua`a of Honoulimaloo on the Island of Molokai. The name of this `ili is Pilipili. On the eastward side is Kulauala, below* is Keauhou. This `ili goes from the taro to the kula which adjoins the seashore. The name of the kula of this `ili is Pualanalana. The length /of the lo`i land?/ is 3 chains and 50 feet, and the kula is 40 chains by 40 chains. My occupancy of this `ili has been from the time of Kamehameha I. Kaiko was the ali`i, then Kaaheo, then Keohokalole. Of the konohikis, Kahalekulu was the first, then Kahilinalo, Kekuanui, Kaha, Mauna, and Lima. The witnesses are Kauakahi, Koahoouka and some others. Therefore, I have a claim to this place, from my kupunas, for you to consider.
