Greetings to the Land Commissioners: I have a claim in an `ili in the Ahupua`a of Ualapue on the Island of Molokai. Puukuha is the name of this `ili. Kulauonakukui is the name of this `ili*. On the easterly side is an `ili for Wailiilii, on the lower /leeward/ side, is the Ahupua`a of Kahananui. Kailiili is the name of the konohiki.

I occupied this claim a very long time ago - Kaakau was the konohiki who gave it to me. I have occupied this `ili until the present. Formerly I cultivated and went to the po`alima labor days but at this time am exused because of having four children.

Three sections remain because they are small but there is a claim for these. No one has objected to Kaule. This is an old land from Kaule's parents. Kaule lived there at the time of Kamehameha I.

Hakuole, sworn, certifies Kamanoha's testimony.
