I have a claim in an `ili in the Ahupua`a of Kumueli on the Island of Molokai - its name is Muliwai. Kawailoa, for Kapalu, is the name of the `ili on the east side, and Kapualei is the Ahupua`a on the west.

Awili, the former konohiki of Kekauonohi, gave this to me, and I have had the occupancy of it until the present with these konohikis /since Awili/.

The circumference of these taro lo`i is one hundred and eight fathoms and a yard. Here is the description.
H.M. 47 fathoms, three fathoms and a half.
L.K. Thirty seven fathoms
K.O. Seven fathoms
O.U. Seven fathoms
U.H. Seven fathoms = 108½ circumference*
