I, the one whose name is below, hereby state to you, the Commissioners to quiet land titles, that I have an `ili in the Ahupua`a of Keawanui /named/ Kuikui, on the Island of Molokai, and also a kula.

The length is 324 fathoms and the width is 79 fathoms and there are also some taro lo`is. I have consumed the produce of this land for a long time. My makua received the land from Puakaliali, and I inherited it. Therefore I have a claim in these `ilis.

Some of Napahi's patches are probably in Nawahie's land, no objections.

No. 3902, Napahi vs Kikau, konohiki, 2 November 1853

Kekoowai, sworn, he has seen these 3 lois in Keawanui ahupuaa, Molokai.

Kanakahi was the kanaka of these lois at the time of Kamehameha I, and he gave this land to Kikau, then Kikau gave it to Hana at the time of Kamehameha II. Hana lived here until his death at which time these lois were given to Kikau and he (Kikau) filed it as a claim for Napahi.

It was agreed that konohiki has no claim.
