He received Apana 1 from me before 1839: I had it from Waikaaki in the time of Kamehameha I. Apana 2 was from Kailua, his father, in 1832, and he /his father/ obtained it in the time of Kamehameha I. Apanas 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, were from Waikaaki in 1842, and he had obtained them in the time of Kamehameha I. He has had quiet land and undisputed possession until this time.

Kalahohina, sworn, His claim at Kalamaula, Molokai, is good, no objections.

Kauakahi, sworn, I saw Kane cultivating this land at Naiwa in 1843, and he took the crop /of vegetable food/ from this land.
