Hear ye, ye Land Commissioners: I, Hanauapuaa, hereby state my claim. I have three pauku under the one who has the land, Kapihe. The claim is at Ululoloa, the Ahupua`a is Kuiaha. At Kanukuwai One are 29 lo`i, at Kanukuwai Two are 7 lo`i, at Kanukuwai Three are 11 lo`i. Some lo`i are cultivated under another /person/. At Ohia are 11 lo`i, at Kulanapoi are 14 lo`i, at Paulele are 18 lo`i.

Here is my claim for a steep potato planting, and a small wauke valley which is on the trail. Here is another claim in Kaheho: 4 lo`i, a steep wauke planting and a coconut tree. That is my claim for land from the time of Kamehameha to Kamehameha III, from my kupunas to my mak ....
