Hear ye, ye Land Commissioners: I, Kekahuna, hereby state my claim for land, as directed by the Elele. The Ahupua'a is Kuiaha, and my 'ili is Kapili; the size of my claim runs to the forest, therefore when you ask for witnesses we will not go personally to Oahu but I will write you.

Furthermore, there are some claims for cultivation under another person in various places: 8 lo'i at Poeleele, 5 lo'i at Pohakaiole, 2 lo'i /no location/. Furthermore, I have some kula planted in potatoes - at Kikoiakua, 2 mo'o, in Pohakaiole, 1 kula with pota ....
