Greetings to the Land Commissioners: I have a claim for land which is named Kanaele, in the Ahupua`a of Waialua on Molokai. It is 5 chains 10 fathoms in length and 1 chain in width. There is also a kula which I have not measured because of its great size; I think it may be a mile. I hereby state that at the time I acquired this land, the kahu`aina was Kanepue, on his death, Keaumalahia became the hakuaina, on her death, her kane, Namilo, stayed on and in a little while the land passed to Pakaka.
