To the Land Commissioners: I, Peleleu, have a taro mo`o /named/ Panene in the Ahupua`a of Wawaia, Island of Molokai. The combined lengths are 16 + 16 = 32. The combined widths are 9 + 6 = 15. It is bounded mauka by a po`alima, to the eastward by a raised earth marker, makai by Ino's mo`o, and below* by a raised earth marker.
My mo`o was from Kauke, and on his death from his keiki, Nakoi; it has been perhaps nine years. There is a claim for cultivating sweet potatoes. These are 254 fathoms long by 29 fathoms wide. and there is also some kula.

Lokomaikai, sworn: I know about these parcels of land; they are for Peleleu. They were from his parents, and when Peleleu was luna, Kaihe absolutely gave these hills /or mounds/ of taro to Peleleu, before 1838.
