To the Land Commissioners, Greetings: I hereby state my claim for land in Kamookahi in Kapalama. I have three lo`i, together in one place and they also adjoin the lo`is of Popoki and Poka. I have held these lo`is in peace under the konohiki.

.... Paewahine had possession of those patches by a sale, Paewahine's two patches to Kukuhe had become a poalima and it was the same with the patches that was [were] possessed by Paewahine. Kukuhe has given the land to Kauliokamoa and he has had it to this day under his (Paewahine) heir, Napoeha. Kukuhe had died in 1844.

Poka, sworn, I have seen this place just as Kuliuli has related here.
