I, Paele, on the Island of Molokai, Ahupua`a of Moakea, hereby petition for my `ili in this Ahupua`a. Its name is Kanukuloku and it is 7 chains long, lying very narrow, makai to mauka. This `ili also has a kula. (See the diagram in the original claim). The konohikis have been Kaunakakai, Kanakanui and Kahuliaikaua. The witnesses are Luhio, Elemakule, Kaka and all the tenants on this land.
