But claimant has a dwelling place in a large enclosed yard in Waiokane, Lahaina, and owns two ridges of kula within which his house stands. He had it from me. I had it from Maele, and Maele had it from Kanemaikou. Upai got it from me in 1856 and I had it from Maele in 1839. Upai's title has never been disputed.
